Past Happenings

In addition to monetary donations to several different organizations throughout Monroe County and hours of volunteer work, SIMC has also had the following events in the last 12 months.

Luna Fest

We hosted a Luna Feast event twice last year that took donations in exchange of entry fee. Those donations were provided to Monroe High School for the girls that attended that school.

Designer Purse Bingo

We hosted a bingo event which the prizes were designer purses instead of money.  The proceeds of this event when to the club to use for annual awards and towards future service projects.

Blanket Making

We hosted 2 projects in 2019 where we got together and made blankets and then donated those blankets to Paula's House I and the Sunrise House in Monroe.

Annual Ladies Shopping Night Out

We hosted our annual event that includes several vendors throughout the area and dinner.  This event sells out every year and the proceeds go back to our club to be used for annual awards and towards future service projects

Christmas Dinner

We hosted a Christmas dinner night with one of the recovery houses in Monroe.  We provided a dinner for the ladies and then we all played bunco.  We provided the ladies purses with toiletries and also gift bags that included home made blankets, scarfs and gloves that were made by our club members.
